Am I going to heaven?
God says, believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. He is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father God except through Jesus. (John14:6) Believe that He died and rose again on the cross, as the perfect Lamb, to pay for our sins. Believe that Jesus is the Lord, your God, and you will be Saved. (Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9,13) Ask the Lord to come into your life with His Helper, the Holy Spirit: that you may have new life: you are a new Creation. The old will be gone and the new comes to life. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
When you receive Him as your Savior, He gives you the right to become a child of God. (John1:12) By Jesus’ grace we are saved; it is a gift from God. (Ephesians2:8) Ask to receive His gift of everlasting life. For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John3:16) Our citizenship is in heaven. The old has died away and our new life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is in your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. (Colossinas3:3-4) (Acts4:12) (2Corinthians 5:17) (Matthew6:9-13) (Luke11:2-4)
Amen
(Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9,13)
Why should I pray?
We pray, in Jesus’ name, to be in constant communion and union with God. For only He is good. In order to practice our faith, we must keep His commands and ask for forgiveness. Yet are we capable of being perfect, sinless? No, that is why God gave us Jesus to stand in the gap. (1John1:9) God sees His children as clean, pure and sinless because Jesus took our sin away from us. (Ephesians1:4-5) Yet we are to pray continually in the Spirit, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. (Romans8:27) We are to pray so that we are not tempted by this luring world. (Luke22:46, Matthew26:41, Mark14:38) If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And since we know He hears us - whatever we ask - we also know we have what we asked of Him. (1John 5:14-15) So let us pray in confidence. God asks us to pray, to seek and find Him who knocks on our heart that we may experience joy, peace and blessing. (Matthew7:7, Ephesians 6:18, 1Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
Amen
Who is God?
God is the all-powerful Creator of the universe. He is Holy, Devine, Perfect, Loving. He is One, the great I AM, embodied in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is hard to grasp these amazingly wonderous attributes of who God is because we are not divine. Only God has these attributes: He is the Light: consistent, trustworthy, ever present, Holy, loving, just, full of mercy and grace. God, our Father, gave us His only son, Jesus, as our Savior. We were and are imperfect; only Christ Jesus could give His life for in order to unite us with the Father for eternity. We are covered with Jesus’ blood for the forgiveness of our sins, the ultimate sacrifice. Together, with the Holy Spirit as our guide, we are made Holy, righteous, forgiven and saved through Jesus, being granted Eternal life in our faithful belief. While living life, we have the Holy Spirit to comfort and guide us. Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father and prayerfully restores us to our Father, always present, all knowing and full of light and truth. There is one way to the Father; it is through Jesus Christ. May God hear your prayer for Salvation and give you his Helper, the Holy Spirit, to comfort and sustain you in your walk with learning more about God.
Amen
Fearful? Feeling all alone?
It is natural to experience fear, yet God asks us to be faithful and trust in His plan for us, “to not worry about your life.” If he cares for the birds of the air and the growth of the lilies; think how much more He cares for us, His children. We are valuable and will have provision in God. (Matthew 6:25-34) We are not to worry of the life needs but rather pray and ask and He will provide for us as and help us as we seek the kingdom of God with eternally minded thinking. God tells us in the bible, “Do not fear!” “Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John14:27) God is a God of Peace, who is with you wherever you go. He will never leave or forsake you. He commands us “to be strong and courageous. To not be afraid or discouraged.” (Joshua1:9) We are to: “Cast our anxiety on Him because He cares for us.” (1Peter5:7) Jesus asked us to “not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of it’s own.” (Matthew 6:34) We will experience fear and trouble yet with Jesus as our Savior we get to practice our faith knowing that despite the troubles of this world we will encounter, we have a Holy God caring for us, upholding us and getting us through to a better version of ourselves. He is making us more Christlike as we seek him daily in our fears, troubles and even joys. We are not expected to go it alone: He wants a relationship with you, he is our Helper. He asks that you tell him about your daily life and ask him how to move or decide. Take time to look back and see the times in your life where you felt alone and now, in hindsight, know that God was with you in that moment of fear and doubt---hold on to that truth. There is more heartache and trouble to come our way, yet we do not have to do it alone. (Psalm 23:4) Be courageous. Seek God, Talk (pray) with Jesus and Listen to the Holy Spirit. He will deliver you from fear (Psalm 34:4) and give you peace. He is with you wherever you go. (Deuteronomy3:16) His Spirit gives you power, love and self-discipline.” (2Timothy1:7)
Amen
